DESCRIPTION:Seeking Safety Drop in Group- Ogallala\, NE.  \nSeeking Safety is a drop-in group to help people with PTSD\, a history of trauma and /or a history of substance use/dependence attain safety. Adults 19 years of age and older can attend. \nSeeking Safety is an evidence-based\, present-focused curriculum designed to help people attain safety from PTSD and/or substance use. It is also helpful for those with a history of trauma but without a PTSD diagnosis. Safety is the overarching goal\, with emphasis on helping people achieve safety in their relationships\, thinking\, behavior and emotions. There are a total of 25 different topics that can be attended in any order\, as few or as many times as a person finds helpful.

DESCRIPTION:Mental Health First Aid is an international program proven to be effective.
