Prime for Life: Alcohol and Drug Education

April 11, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm CST

Classes will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10:00 am–2:00 pm
Central Time. (Date/time subject to change due to schedule conflict or Holidays).

The following classes will be held on the 2 nd Saturday of the month due to the
holiday schedule. April 11, 2026, July 11, 2026 and September 12, 2026.

Registration for the classes will close on the Monday prior to the scheduled class date
at 5pm CST. Payment for the class must be received by Monday at 5pm CST prior to
the scheduled class date as well. If payment is not received by the deadline,
participants will not be registered for the class.
Acceptable payments include-
personal check, money order, cashier’s check or credit card payment.

Requirements for virtual classes:

  • Participants are required to have Wi-Fi, a computer/tablet or phone with a
    working camera & speaker. If participants do not have this capability, they
    will not be able to register for the class. Participants will be asked actively
    participate in the class. Classes held from 10:00am-2:00pm (Central Time).
  • Participants will be emailed a Zoom link with instructions 2 days prior to class. At
    times, the email will end up in spam/junk mail, please check just in case.
    Participants must complete a pretest before scheduled class time starts. A
    posttest, survey and evaluation form must be completed after the class in order
    to receive a certificate of completion.
  • A certificate of completion will be emailed to each participants once the required
    course work has been completed on the following Monday after class.
  • Participants must be at least 14 years old to attend the class.

*This class is offered FREE to parents, guardians or spouses wishing to sit in with
the participant.

*Class fee is $120.00 (A digital workbook is included in the price). Paperback copies
of the workbooks are also available upon request.

*Classes need to have a minimum of 5 participants. If the minimum number is not
met, participants will be notified regarding cancellation and participants will be
moved to the class the following month. A maximum limit of 15 participants per
class.

This project is funded (100%, $427,899.00) by the Region II Human Services Substance Abuse Prevention,
Treatment and Recovery Services Block Grant (1B08TI088119-01) through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, contracted through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health.
